"A corporation is a living organism; it has to continue to shed its skin. Methods have to change. Focus has to change. Values have to change. The sum total of those changes is transformation." – Andrew Grove

For Alltec Corporation, 2009 has been a year for continuous improvement and progression of our lean manufacturing techniques and ISO certifications. Lean Manufacturing is defined as "a systematic approach to identifying and eliminating waste (non-value added activities) through continual improvement by flowing value at the pull of the customer in pursuit of perfection."

The ISO Quality Assurance program encompasses work flow and on-time delivery within the company’s various departments and maintains a particular focus in manufacturing. High quality products that take other companies days in lead time are now offered at Alltec in a mere fraction of the time without sacrificing quality; this is because excess wastes are eliminated, checks and balances are established, and quality systems are enacted.

Overall, the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) acts as a liaison between clients and businesses and specifies quality management systems for companies. ISO ensures desirable characteristics of products and services such as quality, environmental friendliness, safety, reliability, and efficiency. ISO standards facilitate trade between countries and often make trade fairer, as well as more secure. In addition to past ISO certifications, Alltec Corporation has recently achieved ISO 9001:2008 certification and integrated those concepts into its 2010 business plan. ISO has published more than 17,500 International Standards across the globe.

Over the years Alltec’s manufacturing department has adopted ISO procedures including the lean manufacturing process. We now offer a complete full-service fabrication and CNC machine facility for customized "design and build" products with exceptionally short lead times. The addition of new equipment and enhanced ISO procedures now offers clients high quality products with a "manufactured on time" delivery. Most importantly, this means a faster turn-around on superior quality products for our clients.

A variety of complete CNC machining, pulse and standard welding, and assembly are offered within our factory. The addition of innovative equipment also gives Alltec manufacturing new enhanced capabilities within the workplace. Current specialized projects have included signal reference grids for radio stations and lightning protection systems for wind turbines.
