Regional Manager – Business Development – SE Asia & Pacific

The Southeast Asia Regional Business Development Manager has the challenging task of identifying regional strategic business opportunities to generate revenue. This position requires a person who has the ability to recognize opportunities and the sales experience to successfully negotiate and close deals. This position has specific and measurable sales goals.
As a leader in Lightning Protection Solutions, ALLTEC provides truly integrated facility protection solutions which include proprietary products, engineering, design, and services.
With the ability to be based in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, or Manila, this role’s primary purpose is the development of new business and the expansion of existing business within the assigned SE Asia region and coordinating all business development activities across the full suite of products and services Alltec offers.
As the commercial face of the company in the region, you will be responsible for pursuing sales leads and prospective clients, delivering presentations and proposals, maintaining product knowledge, and continued market analysis and research. Must be able to lead from the front in instigating C-Level customer engagement to introduce, educate, and sell Alltec products and services. You will ensure quality and value is generated from RFI/RFQ/RFP activities and solutions, along with being responsible for leading the companies market activity including development and management of a distributor network in the region.
You will identify new product opportunities and develop creative solutions to fulfill customer needs while building strong relationships with key contacts/executives within customer organizations to understand commercial opportunities and to create value.
You will be a highly goal oriented, performance driven sales/business development professional that brings with them a track record in Technology Sales and Business Development leadership in the SE Asia region.
At a minimum you will have;
- Minimum of 5 years Southeast Asia business development experience in a technology driven solutions company or a similar field sales role with a proven track record of revenue generation in business development
- Able to initiate senior C-level meetings and lead from the front in the marketplace
- Be able to demonstrate a solid understanding of the theory and practice of Lightning Protection Solutions
- Bachelors’ Degree in Business or Engineering
- Ability to provide clear direction to gather necessary data and implement the right solution
- Good understanding of regional culture and working environment
- Strong leadership, behavior traits and a desire to succeed
- Excellent communication and organizational skills in multi-tasking environment
- Fluent in English
- Work well under pressure
- Distributor management experience, including negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to travel extensively

Position Summary:
Inside Technical Sales Representatives are responsible for developing relationships with customers and growing accounts in their assigned territory through the promotion and selling of the company’s products. Inside Technical Sales Representatives are vital members of the sales group whose foundation is anchored on teamwork, integrity, accountability and enthusiasm. Electrical Engineering Manager

Responsibilities:
Manages and coordinates the work of engineering staff placing particular emphasis on providing technical assistance to colleagues & clients, developing company revenue for engineering services, perform site surveys, engineering studies and technical reports, provides technical/sales assistance to other departments. Supervises day-to-day engineering functions.
Qualifications:

Essential Functions
- Supervises and coordinates the activities of the Engineering Department.
- Directs design department in preparation of drawings, procedures, etc., necessary for the development of client projects and internal technical/marketing materials.

- Performs engineering services including site surveys, technical reports and evaluations.
