Responsibilities:

Manages and coordinates the work of engineering staff placing particular emphasis on providing technical assistance to colleagues & clients, developing company revenue for engineering services, perform site surveys, engineering studies and technical reports, provides technical/sales assistance to other departments. Supervises day-to-day engineering functions.

Qualifications:

B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Minimum of eight years in related Engineering field. Sound knowledge of Electrical Engineering theory and design criteria. Must have prior experience with grounding, power quality and lightning protection disciplines.

Essential Functions

• Supervises and coordinates the activities of the Engineering Department.
• Directs design department in preparation of drawings, procedures, etc., necessary for the development of client projects and internal technical/marketing materials.
• Develops company revenue from engineering services and continually looks for new ways to improve this.
• Performs engineering services including site surveys, technical reports and evaluations.
• Completes electrical projects by supervising installations; resolving design issues.
• Accomplishes electrical engineering human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures.
• Achieves electrical engineering operational objectives by contributing electrical engineering information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining administrative system improvements; implementing change.
• Assists sales department with technical expertise as needed.
• Assists marketing in sales presentations, catalogs, and general advertising literature.
• Prepares and conducts company technical presentations. Meets electrical engineering financial objectives by forecasting electrical engineering requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
• Provides clients with technical support. Provides colleagues with technical training and assistance.
• Updates job knowledge by remaining current on codes and requirements; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

The Inside Sales Representative is the initial point of contact for our valued customers. You will be responsible for compiling information to create sales opportunities, build and maintain customer relationships, provide technical and application support to a diverse customer base.

Responsibilities:

• Apply technical and sales experience in order to develop and sustain relationships with our valued customers.
• Demonstrate ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
• Monthly sales analysis, forecast and budget reporting.Record and maintain documentation of product application issues and potential field problems.

• Materials handling, machine operations, equipment maintenance, assembly work, inventory control, etc.
• Must be able to read blueprints & operate micrometers & calipers
