Field Technician Position
Canton, NC; USA
Function:
- Install lightning protection and grounding systems, and TVSS devices.
- Provide customer service and technical support.
Responsibilities:
- Acquire knowledge on lightning and grounding related problems and provide complete solutions.
- Acquire knowledge about our company and all the products and services we provide.
- Learn and understand codes and standards from the governing bodies of our industry.
- Build relationships with Electrical Contractors, General Contractors, Architects and Engineers.
- Provide daily progress reports and project completion reports.
- Keep abreast of corporate objectives, and new product development.
- Support and contribute to company projects.
- Provide technical installation support to the Sales and Engineering departments as needed.
- Adhere to vehicle maintenance schedule - tires, brakes, oil changes, cleaning and inventory.
Qualifications:
- Requires the ability to travel.
- Three to five years of experience in the electrical field preferred, but not required.
- Ability to work with heights.
- Capable of reading and understanding blueprint designs and scales.
- Ability to make practical judgment calls, based on specific field needs.
- Willing and able to follow directions.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.

Inside Sales Position
Canton, NC; USA
Function:
- Provide customer service, technical and application support on the complete Alltec product line.
Responsibilities:
- Acquire knowledge and keep abreast of corporate ventures, objectives, and product development.
- Apply sales experience in order to develop and sustain relationships with client base.
- Record and maintain documentation of product application issues and potential field problems.
- Monthly sales analysis, forecast and budget reporting.
- Involvement and assistance with seminars and presentations.
- Support and contribute to company projects.
- Contribute to technical articles and publications.
- Provide technical support to other departments as needed; e.g. to Marketing personnel.
- Perform sales-related duties as they arise.
Qualifications:
- Requires Associate’s Degree (Bachelor’s Degree a plus), in electrical or electronic engineering, or equivalent.
- Three to five years of direct experience in sales.
- Ability to work with heights.
- Application engineering experience helpful.
- Ability to make judgment calls, based on specific sales needs, for a wide range of product applications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (WORD, EXCEL, etc.).
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
